The Process
WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR NONIMMIGRANT HEALTHCARE PROVIDER EMPLOYMENT IN THE U.S.?
There are many steps that need to be taken before you’re able to work in the United States.
We’re here to help you navigate the process all along the way.
Please be aware the entire process to obtain a visa can take 6 months to 2 years so please plan accordingly.
Here are the major items that must be completed before you are allowed to enter the United States and start work.
STEP 1: APPLICATION FORM
On the page titled “APPLICATION” you will find the application form. This form must be completed in its entirety.
STEP 2: NON-REFUNDABLE PLACEMENT FEE
As part of the application process, a non-refundable placement fee is required. The cost of this placement fee is $3,000.00 (Three Thousand & no/100) U.S. dollars.
STEP 3: EMPLOYMENT AND PETITION APPROVAL
Temporary worker visas are for persons who want to enter the United States for employment lasting a fixed period and are not considered permanent or indefinite. Each of these visas requires the prospective employer to first file a petition with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
STEP 4: IMMIGRATION VISA PROCESSING
The United States Department of Immigration requires a visa to enter the United States.
We’ll help you process this document.
STEP 5: VISA APPROVAL
A consular officer will interview you and determine whether you are eligible to receive an immigrant visa.
This interview takes place at the U.S. Embassy in Manila.
STEP 6: PURCHASE YOUR AIRFARE TICKET
Purchasing airfare for your trip to the United States is your responsibility, and your expense.
STEP 7: WORK AND LIVE IN THE UNITED STATES
Congratulations! You are now eligible to live and work in the United States.
